SELF REGULATION THERAPY

SRT will help you feel alive and balanced again.
In life there is the good stuff: the things that make you feel happy, healthy and whole. And there is the not so good stuff: loss, accidents, violence, abandonment, to name but a few.

The difficult things can leave an imprint on your body and nervous system that makes you unwell. Maybe you have depressing or angry thoughts, panic attacks, end up in hurtful relationships or have pain in your body. SRT helps your nervous system and body release the imprint left by your trauma, allowing you to get well both physically and emotionally.

SRT is a scientifically based approach to health developed by neuro-physiologists and psychologists. Using gentle verbal guidance, SRT works by having you become aware of and 'snuggle into' the sensations in strong, calm and healthy areas of your body or life. This is called 'resource'. Once resource is established we can then start to work with the symptoms and areas of concern in your life. By connecting resources with what is troubled, the body naturally goes into a state of discharge, restoring your system to a state of health and balance.

Not only does this release the impact of the past, but also sets you up for the possibility of a much brighter future.
