Rosemary Gaddum Gordon,
D.B.O., M.A. graduated in 1968 from Moorfields Eye Hospital in London where
she was trained as an orthoptist (a therapist who works with
ophthalmologists to teach the eyes to work better together). She worked at
Moorfields until she moved to the U.S., where she opened a private practice
in Santa Fe, N.M. After improving her own vision with the Bates Method, she
went on to study psychotherapy and the psychology of vision. In 1981 she
received a Masters Degree in Vision Therapy from Lesley College in
Cambridge, MA. She finds that Yoga, Vipassana Meditation, Reiki,
Educational Kinesiology, and Focusing are useful adjuncts to her work.
Rosemary is a faculty member of The Vision Educator Training Institute. She sees adults
and children in her private practices in Cambridge, MA and Eliot, ME and
offers workshops and groups in the U.S. and Europe. She also teaches
workshops designed for people who work with computers. See Class Listing.
