Michelle Walsh, M.A.

Michelle Walsh holds a Master of Arts degree from the Contemplative Psychotherapy department at Naropa University, a fully accredited graduate school in Boulder, Colorado. She is a certified Yoga Teacher, having studied mainly in Ashtanga and Iyengar systems and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Michelle has also been studying Buddhism and practicing meditation for the past 13 years and has enjoyed extensive mediation retreats. Michelle's unique background and formal training in combining the benefits of contemplative approaches with traditional psychology result in a method that is truly holistic.

Michelle has been using an integrated approach to wellbeing with her clients for the past 10 years and is passionate about helping her clients apply these principles in their daily lives. Michelle has extensive experience in teaching others how to live a balanced, eco-friendly life beginning with her work as a Program Director for a non-profit agency that teaches sustainable living techniques. She has served as an Education Program Director for a Buddhist Meditation Center, worked as a Wilderness Therapist and supervised treatment coordination for high risk adolescents. Michelle has also served as a consultant to Mental Health agencies on integrating yoga and mindfulness practices with clients.

Michelle is available for individual and group sessions, workshops and retreats. Workshop and group topics include:

  • Yoga and Meditation for Emotional Wellbeing
  • The Art of Relaxation
  • Yoga Therapy for Adolescents
